It's a Wonderful Time of the Year!

Super excited for Christmas!  Can't believe it is in two days.  We've been busy shopping, decorating, and spending time with family and friends.  My favorite things about the Christmas season are:

Decorating the Christmas tree (this is our first year celebrating Christmas as a married couple!)

Putting up decorations

Watching Christmas movies (I love the older Christmas cartoon movies)

Christmas shopping

Christmas family parties

Christmas music

Going XC Skiing

And, the greatest of all...

Celebrating our Savior's birth.  He is the greatest gift that we have ever been given.

Family Picas!

We had family pictures on Sunday!  It was pretty chilly, but so worth it.  My dad loves to find a random spot and take photos there.  This one is my absolute favorite!

Time to Write

So here is to my lack of posting! I wish I had the time to post pictures and everything else.  There is just so much to do, places to go, and people to see (as my dad always says :) )!

We are livin the life!  We are excited for this season.  There is so much to be grateful for...a nice house, family, friends, the gospel, and each other.  We couldn't be happier with what we have and are soo blessed.  May this season help all of us to remember what is most important.

This is us and we're pretty cute.  We were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on March 19, 2011.  It was the best day in the world.  Now it has been 7 months.  Time goes by so fast, so make each day count.

(Don't worry, this is the first photo that I learned how to put up and there will be more to come.  I probably need to do the introductions and stuff like everyone else does.  Stay tuned).

New and Impoved blog!

Well this is the first post in a long time and now Mike has allowed this to be our family blog!  I, the wifey, will be taking over.  It totally needs updating and colors, and a new font, plus pictures!  I have always wanted to create a blog because I enjoy looking at other's blogs.
We'll see what these next few weeks bring!  (We might also need a change in the title, Mike and I weren't sure what to call it!)
